An exciting new chapter for Impos

I started Impos out of my garage in my early 20’s, taking a leap of faith after recognising the gap in market for a super-fast fast and durable point of sale (POS) system. Since then I have been focused on perfecting the most reliable POS system for the hospitality industry. I have had an absolute ball, working and playing hard in an electric industry that I love.

Fast forward almost 15 years and I am excited to announce Impos has been acquired by world leaders Jonas Software, renowned for owning and operating over 80 market leading software companies globally.

I have been in contact with the team at Jonas for over 12 months and over the past few months have been collaborating on this new and exciting chapter for Impos. They have already adopted our pride for the work we have achieved, never wavering from our continued commitment to the hospitality industry.

What does this mean for our customers? It is business as usual for Impos in 2020, with increased investment across development, product and resources. We take genuine pride in our care for our customers and this will never change.

This year has seen exciting growth including the coveted appointment of Impos CEO, Andrew Paynter working out of the Impos HQ building in St Kilda Road, Melbourne. Andrew has over twenty years industry experience in high performance business operations, sales leadership, information technology, management consulting, and software development.

I am feeling very optimistic as I confidently hand the Impos baton over to Andrew and our experienced leadership team and focus my energy into Doshii.
