Impos appoints new CEO and Advisory Board members

Impos celebrates continued growth and expansion with the appointment of new CEO, Andrew Paynter

2019 is shaping up to be a big year for Australian hospitality Point of Sale (POS) specialists, Impos. We are excited to announce senior leadership additions to the advisory board including experienced Chief Executive, Chairman and Company Director Scott Tanner, and senior finance and technology expert, Fiona Currie.

Both appointments come with deep expertise and knowledge within the finance sector, with Scott’s experience spanning decades as former CEO and COO with Westpac Bank, Bank of Melbourne, and Director of the prestigious global management firm, Bain and Company.

Fiona has been with Impos since 2016 as CFO and has over 20 years’ experience working in CFO and senior finance roles, including holding senior positions at Amobee and Adconion. She has a proven track record of leading the financial strategy and advising Executive teams in local and international markets, with a specific skillset crossing Advertising, Media & Technology.

Following the coveted additions, Impos is most excited to announce the appointment of Andrew Paynter as CEO working out of the Impos HQ building in St Kilda Road, Melbourne. Andrew has over twenty years industry experience in high performance business operations, sales leadership, information technology, management consulting, and software development.

Andrew has provided expert advisory and consulting services to the government, emergency services, ASX top 100 and ICT organisations on best practices that led to achieving meaningful and sustainable results. Andrew built and led large sales businesses within some of the world’s leading tech companies such as Dimension Data and Netapp.

“Impos is constantly evolving with an ongoing commitment to superior software upgrades and integrations. While we were originally created for the Melbourne bar scene, the diversity and wide range of clients is a direct result of our commitment to that evolution. We still dominate within traditional hospitality venues, but our growth into the education sector is exciting with around 150 schools and universities nationwide, including UNSW Sydney.” Andrew said. “The opportunity ahead for Impos is vast, but to seize it, we must focus clearly, move faster and continue to transform and evolve. A big part of my job is to accelerate our ability to bring innovative products to our customers more quickly.”
